A Call to Youth, Activists, and Change-Makers
On 13 November 2025, Pretoria will host the Symposium on Environmental and Social Justice, organised by CCIVS (Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service) within the framework of the Voices for Change project, co-funded by the European Union. The event will also be accessible online, opening participation to a global audience.
About the Symposium
The Symposium will provide a dynamic platform for reflection, dialogue, and exchange on some of today’s most pressing challenges: environmental degradation, social injustice, and colonial legacies. It will showcase how International Voluntary Service (IVS), community-led action, and cultural expression can contribute to shaping a decolonial environmental and social justice agenda.
