We take your privacy and the protection of your data seriously. In accordance with data protection regulations, we have taken technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data.
We would therefore like to inform you of how we protect your privacy when you provide us with personal data. Apart from complying with the legal provisions on data protection, we regard it as our duty to handle your personal information in a responsible manner so that your privacy is protected at all times. On request, information provided will be deleted immediately. It is important to us that you feel secure and comfortable when visiting our webpages.
General information
When using the internet, data is automatically transferred by your browser. This includes the name of your Internet service provider, an IP address, the website from which you visit us, the files you access from us, the data volume transferred and the date and duration of your visit. This data is stored and evaluated on our web server for statistical reasons and to guarantee system security. This information is not personally identifiable to you through CCIVS. As an individual user, you remain anonymous at all times.

When you use www.ccivs.org, personal data is only collected when, for example, you provide us with this information while filling in a contact form or registering for our online evaluation. Your data entered in the form will only be stored for the respective purpose for which you have entered it. For example, we need your complete address to process applications.

As a rule, we do not forward your data to third parties. All persons at CCIVS are bound by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Only if required by law or court order to do so, will we forward your data to the respective authorities.
Right to information
On request, we will inform you as soon as possible in accordance with the applicable law whether and which personal data of yours is stored by us. In case incorrect information is saved, despite our efforts to ensure that the data is correct and up-to-date, we will correct it at your request.
Right to revoke
You can withdraw your consent for the use of your data at any time in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. If you contact us, we will promptly delete your personal data. Furthermore, under specific conditions, you have the right to ask for your personal data stored with us to be corrected, blocked or deleted.
Like button of Facebook, Google and Twitter
To share content with friends on Facebook and Twitter, we use the Like button. This button collects personal data even if you are not registered or logged into Facebook or Twitter. We do not know if, how and by whom this data will be processed, and we are not responsible for this. Only by clicking on the button, you reach the page of the corresponding provider.
Use of Google Charts
We use the Google Charts module on our websites to display maps.
By using the Google Charts map on our website and even when just visiting the page with the integrated Google Charts map, information about how you use our website, including your IP address, is transferred to a Google server and stored there. This transfer of data to the USA does not exclude data protection risks. If you do not agree to the transmission of your data to Google Charts and the data transfer, you can deactivate the map service by switching off the JavaScript application in your browser. In this case, you will not be able to use the service and map display.
Embedded You Tube Videos
We have embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the provider of the corresponding plug-in. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. In doing so, YouTube will be informed of the pages you visit. When you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can allocate your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
When a YouTube video starts, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.
If you deactivate the storage of cookies for the Google Ad programme, you will not have to deal with these cookies when viewing YouTube videos. YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. To prevent this, block the saving of cookies in your browser.
