A detailed report on the 2019 Raising Peace campaign, coordinated by CCIVS, which took place in over 60 countries. The campaign aimed to enhance the role of the International Voluntary Service movement in promoting peace and human rights through awareness, training, advocacy, and networking. The report includes an impact assessment that utilized a mixed methods approach, featuring both quantitative pretest-posttest surveys and qualitative semi-structured interviews. Significant findings included improved communication skills, a greater sense of living in a diverse and inclusive society, and a heightened ability to view problems as opportunities for improvement. Participants also showed increased engagement in voluntary activities and a deeper understanding of issues like gender rights and climate justice after the campaign.
