Raksha Venugopal Shenoy Kundapura is an enthusiastic advocate for international volunteering and intercultural exchange. Currently volunteering at Historisch-Ökologische Bildungsstätte (HÖB) in Papenburg as a part of the Weltwärts North and South Program 2023-24 with AFS Interkulturelle in Germany.
Raksha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and Intercultural Studies, specialising in French and German. Fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Korean, basic French, and German, she leverages her linguistic skills to foster cross-cultural understanding. She actively participates in initiatives such as the Clean Kundapura Project (CKP) and FSL India, focusing on beach conservation and eco-friendly practices. Drawing from the global perspective she gained while working with individuals from diverse nations, she aims to underscore the importance of personal development, fostering community bonds, and contributing to societal progress.
Beyond her commitment to service, she channels her energy into photography, sketching, and a continuous journey of learning languages. She is a team player with the ability to learn and adapt swiftly. Eager to contribute to ongoing initiatives and shape conversations about volunteering’s role, Raksha seeks to be a catalyst for positive change, embodying the values of compassion and dedication.
