Ms. Anja Stuckert has over 20 years of experience working on youth engagement, gender equality and inclusion, working as a gender advisor and global project manager in an international child rights organisation. She is a trainer and facilitator. In 2020, she joined the International Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE) as Secretary-General. ICYE promotes long- and medium-term volunteering contributing to global solidarity, peace and environmental sustainability. Anja is passionate about the participation of young people in social change and international volunteering as a way to overcome borders and break down prejudices. As an EC member, she wants to contribute to a world where people are empowered to engage for and promote social justice, gender equality/inclusion, environmental sustainability and intercultural learning. She is looking forward to work with CCIVS on implementing the new strategic framework.
