
Pamela Nyasha Mapedzamombe currently resides in South Africa. She is a Youth development
Activist, volunteering with Zimbabwe Workcamps Association, Young People Mental health,
Green Governance Trust, Bersama Consulting PL, Poret Chimanimani, Fambidzanai
Permaculture Centre Service Civil International, CCIVS, Africa Network of Green Ambassadors
and the Sustainable Green Environment Initiative, UNSSC. With 4 years experience in
community & youth development through volunteering in SDG aligned projects in Zimbabwe in areas of Water harvesting, Biofertilesers, Camp Coordinating, Youth work, agroecology, Permaculture, Gender Community based health care, and Environmentalism.
As a Certified African Green Ambassador & Project Manager, Pamela is also contributing to new thinking through work with the CCIVS youth committee, Project Management Zimbabwe, Unsolved Crimes Specialists South Africa and Hona Zimbabwe Trust, Zimbabwe Youth Biodiversity Network, Bersama Consulting PL where Pamela uses that experience to lead the youth in taking active steps towards climate restoration, economic restoration and to inspire grassroots change in volunteering, leadership, emancipation through hands-on work as well as mentoring. She believes together we can reach the Sustainable future we yearn for.
She will be championing for peace on upcoming projects with the Sustainable Green Environment initiative, African Network of Green Ambassadors, SCI (Participatory Action Research) CCIVS (Think Tank, Decolonise Volunteering), UNSSC (Reviewer for Pilot course for Sustainable Lifestyles) and several campaigns in pursuit of change towards shared peace through volunteerism for restoration and she hopes to see you all joining in towards this positive change this year. A citizen of Zimbabwe, born in Mutare, Pamela is also an artist who enjoys creating art and inspiration through music. Pamela is also an Academic.
