This unique 10-day training is an invitation to become an Earth Artivist — using music and volunteer action to amplify local voices and influence global policies.
Participants will:
- Dive deep into the intersections of climate justice, colonial legacies, and ecological activism
- Explore the power of songwriting and art as tools for change
- Build skills in community engagement, non-formal education, and advocacy
- Collaboratively create a multilingual song based on real community stories
- Gain tools to implement local actions in their countries after the training
Provisional Programme Highlights
- Immersive sessions on decolonising ecology, EU climate and social policies, and green colonialism
- Field visits and learning from local communities
- Songwriting & music creation workshops with an artist from the International Music Council
- Community reflection, storytelling, and deep listening
- Campaign building and awareness raising strategies
- Hands-on preparation for follow-up actions in your own country
