CCIVS Constitution foresees three different kind of membership:

Full member
The status of full member requires a proof of the involvement of the organisation in International Voluntary Service (Cf. Art 5.a of CCIVS constitution).

Associate member
Any organisation wishing to maintain close and regular contact with CCIVS or a national branch of a member organisation having full membership, may apply to become an associate member; associate members do not have voting rights and cannot present themselves to statutory bodies.

Corresponding organisation
Corresponding organisations receive information from CCIVS but can only participate in statutory meetings as observers.

The network promotes the cooperation between members through projects and campaigns, seminars, regional structures and joint actions. It also promotes the concept of voluntary service in new areas and encourages pilot projects and initiatives in different thematic fields of work, supporting the capacity building and quality improvement of volunteers involving organisations.
